We are a small, family-owned business. We use your information to answer your request and take care of your lights, and we never sell it. This page explains the details.

Who we are

The Christmas Light Pros of Atlanta is owned and operated by Cindy and Ernesto Espinoza in Atlanta, Georgia. We are an independently owned member of The Christmas Light Pros network. This policy covers this website only; the national network’s website, thechristmaslightpros.com, has its own policies.

Information you give us

When you request an estimate, we ask for your name, phone number, email address and property address, the type of property, whether you are a new or returning customer, how you heard about us (and, if you choose, the name of the person who referred you), and anything you write in your message. We also receive whatever you share when you call, text or email us.

Please do not send payment card numbers, Social Security numbers or other sensitive information through the website form.

How we use it

To answer your request, prepare your estimate and visit your property.
To schedule, install, maintain and remove your lights, and to send estimates, invoices and service updates.
To keep ordinary business, tax and customer records, including for returning customers in future seasons.
To understand how customers find us and to improve our website and service.
To comply with the law and to protect our customers, our crew and our business.

We contact you about your request and your service. We will not add you to a marketing email or text list without your permission, and you can ask us to stop contacting you at any time.

Information collected automatically

Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to see how many people visit our website, which pages are useful and how visitors find us. Google Analytics uses cookies (small files stored by your browser, such as one named _ga) and collects information such as the pages you view, how long you stay, the website or search that brought you here, your device type, browser, operating system, screen size and language, and an approximate location (such as your city) based on your IP address. Google states that Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. We see this information in aggregate reports and cannot identify you from it. Because Google Analytics runs on many websites, Google may collect information about your online activity over time and across different websites, including ours.

We have not turned on Google signals, user-ID or other advertising features, and our Google Analytics account is not linked to Google Ads. We do not use Google Analytics to show you ads. Detailed event data is deleted automatically after two months, and data tied to a browser identifier after fourteen months without a new visit. Google processes this information under its own privacy policy; you can read how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Website hosting. Our website is hosted by Netlify, which records standard technical information (such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

Owner sign-in. The private editor that we use to update this website sets a sign-in cookie for the owners only. Visitors never receive it.

Your choices about cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Our website works normally without them.
You can install Google’s Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no common standard for responding to it, and our website does not currently change its behavior when it receives one. Because we do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising, there is nothing to opt out of on that front.

Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not share it with other companies for their marketing. We share it only:

With service providers that help us run the business: Netlify, which hosts the website and receives estimate requests and forwards them to us by email; and Google, which provides our email (Gmail) and Google Analytics. They may use the information only to provide their services, subject to their own privacy terms.
When required by law, or when needed to protect the rights, property or safety of our customers, our crew or our business.
If our business is sold or transferred, with the new owner, who would be bound by this policy for information collected under it.

How long we keep it

We keep estimate requests and customer information for as long as we need it to serve you, including in future holiday seasons, and to keep the business and tax records the law requires. After that we delete it. You can ask us to delete your information sooner (see below).

How we protect it

Our website uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), and only the owners can see estimate requests. We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no website or email system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Your rights

You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, or ask us to stop contacting you. Email espinoza22@gmail.com or call or text 678-296-6140. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we may keep information the law requires us to keep. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state law, and we will honor them. We will never treat you differently for asking.

Children

Our website is meant for adults arranging lighting for their homes and businesses. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Other websites

Our website links to other sites, such as Google reviews, Google Maps and The Christmas Light Pros network. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the effective date at the top.
